Installation Problems with Solaris...

Please forgive if this is not the proper forum...

I have downloaded and installed the Sparc binaries from gnome.org.  I
installed everything without a hitch.  

However, i am experiencing the following problems:

I tried just running "panel" to test the install.  When i do I get the
following...

** WARNING **: Could not get name service!

** ERROR **: file goad.c: line 606 (real_goad_server_activate):
assertion failed: (name_service != CORBA_OBJECT_NIL)
aborting...
Abort

There is a mention of this problem in the News section of the solaris page
(http://www.lug.calpoly.edu/~bkurotsu/gnome-solaris.html) and the author
of that page said that he'd "try to figure it out...and post here when [he
does]."  However, that was back in early May.  No solution was posted.

Is there anyone who can help me getting Gnome up and running on Solaris?
Or is there at least a list somewhere of all the dependancies and
libraries I need?  I don't mind removing the packages and starting from
source if I just knew what I needed to install.
