new gnome libs, glib/gtk 1.24, new gnome-core now calculator acts strange

I recently updated rpms off of gurulabs and not the little calculator does
not respond to the initial key press or mouse selection.  I have to click
twice but then it often does not put the right number in or it puts in two
numbers.  Running RedHat 6, gnome libs 1.0.16 and the other latest rpms from
Dax's site.
