Ok I tried this on rh 5.2 box and got,

creating ./config.status
creating Makefile
creating libart-config
creating config.h
+ make
make  all-recursive
make: @SHELL@: Command not found
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 127
Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.19019 (%build)

I was trying to rebiuld gnome-libs, and was rebuild stuff in the order on

http://www.gnome.org/gnomefaq/html/compilinggnome.html

What am I doing wrong,
