Whem you have a problem with a shared library, the first thing to
do is
echo $LD_LIBRARY_PATH
end see if it contains all the system directories. On a sun solaris, it
must contains at minimum :
/lib:/usr/lib:/usr/openwin/lib
on Linux, I suppose
/lib:/usr/lib:/usr/X11R6/lib
If you change something (add a new library for instance), I believe that
under linux, you have to run ldconfig.

Nur der kleine Geist hält Ordnung, das Genie beherrscht das Chaos.
Seuls les petits esprits aiment l'ordre, le génie maitrîse le chaos.
