Hi there,
I want to run an X window application (xconsole) with a specific size,
whatever I try, the application comes up correctly when
I log into X, but when the gnome panel comes up,
it gets resized to it's defaults size.
I have tried running it from ~/.xsession:
-------------------------------------------------
#
# start these programs
xscreensaver &
xconsole -file /dev/xconsole -geometry 535x150+50+0 &
gamix &
#
# window-manager
icewm-gnome &
exec gnome-session
--------------------------------------------------
Also tried this from 'Startup Programs' in the Control Center.
Same effect.
How to do this correctly?
Thanks,
Joop
