logview?

Hi Everyone,

I was looking around for logview.  This was the nice GUI application
that allowed the root user to look over the system logs.  It used to
come with the gnome-utilities package.  Now it doesn't come with any of
the gnome packages.  I managed to find an old copy (version 0.1 from
1998) on the web.  Is this application no longer under development and
considered part of GNOME?
