I gave this a shot, but running 'rpm -ta gnumeric-0.44.tar.gz' gets
me an error about my c-compiler not working. :( I've got egcs and
compat-egcs install, but not the g77 portions(I don't need fortran
for this, do I? :). These are from the RPMs on the RedHat 6.1 ISO.
The only error it gives is that the compiler can't create
executables, which I'm quite confident is wrong. I know I've seen a
solution for this (or at lease ideas on what causes it) but I can't
recally where. Any ideas? Thanks,
Greg
