gnome support in glade?

Does glade have the ability create GNOME apps?  Or does it simply
create GTK apps?  Also, where can I find documentation for
libglade.  I want to learn how to load my GUI from glade's output
(XML) at runtime, so I don't have to recompile everytime I change
the GUI.  Thanks in advance,
