Would it make it any simpler if you considered a window to be four vectors
(the four corners), and you just rotated those vectors around the origin?
Then you wouldn't have curved surfaces, and the windows could be drawn
with simple polygon mathematics (vector translation is easy). I'm not
sure how this'd fit into the current X method of desktops...just an idea.
