[HELP] Control Center problem

Im running RedHat 5.2 with WindowMaker and GNOME 1
i cant seem to run Control Center (v1.0.5) properly
the app runs but no capplets run
here is the terminal output when I try to select something
** WARNING **: Unable to reach the control-center.
Exiting...
Then i get a seg fault when I hit help.
Any suggestions?
