upgrade to RedHat 6.0

sorry if this is a stupid question.
If I ugrade RedHat from 5.2 to 6.0, the Gnome-rpms i have currently
installed will continue OK or must I also upgrade de Gnome rpms?
I have Gnome version 1.0 (April 14)
