Gnome Pilot Problems

Well, I've gotten gnome-pilot fresh out of CVS, it compiles, and I can
run gpilotd and gpilot-fileman, but no sync, and nothing else works
properly. gpilotd-admin and gpilotd-control-applet all dump core quite
quickly. I'm running gtk 1.2.0, gnome-libs 1.0.3, and ORBit 0.4.0. Does
anyone know how to make these guys do anything execept crash? I'd really
like to use this, and perhaps even contribute code, but I can't seem to
get it to behave. Do I need to upgrade anything to newer versions?
gnome-pilot and pilot-link were just checked out of CVS less than a half
hour ago.. Configure seems to like things fine..

gpilotd-admin dies with a whole bunch of:
Gtk-WARNING **: gtk_signal_connect_object(): could not find signal
"changed" in the `GtkHBox' class ancestry
and then a segfault.

gpilotd-control-applet gives:
Message: Unable to load host id information, assuming unset
Message: No pilot userid/username information located
Message: Unable to load pilot id/username, assuming unset
Message: No pilot craddle information located
Message: Unable to load pilot craddle info, assuming unset

Any ideas?
