gnome calendar

Hi folks.  Quick question on the format of Gnome Calendar:

Er.  Just what format is that?  I don't /think/ it's the IETF calendar 
format.  Any plans on making gnome calendar be able to read IETF
calendars?  Etc, etc.

I'm mainly interested in this for Palm Pilot syncing purposes.
