problems compiling gnome-libs-1.0.5

Hello All

Okay trying to compile gnome-libs

first I tried 1.0.4 and that wouldnt make install correctly due to the
devel-docs or something index.sgml, than I noticed on the mailing list
archive there was a 1.05 out, so I grabbed it, found I needed new gtk
and glib so grabbed them also, recompiled glib, gtk+, and then
everything after them in the list of stuff needed to compile (imlib,
gtk-engines, and ORBit (I dont use enlightenment so wont compile fnlib
or enlightenment) 

Finally after running ldconfig when appropriate and recompiling and
reinstalling all of them I got back to trying to compile gnome-libs

This time the compile breaks with

from what I can tell it is code generated by ORBit incorrectly or with
something still missing, I notice in /usr/local/gnome (my --prefix) that
ORBit has not generated all the automatic c files and such it needs when
running in that directory.

Are these what is missing and needed to compile? if so how do I generate
them?

I grepped all sources everywhere for the ORBit_impl_finder and it doesnt
exists as yet.

Anyway much thanks to anyone who can help me get this gnome-libs to
compile, I am not on the mailing list but can check the archive if ytou
dont feel like emailing back to my address directly.
