I posted this a few days ago and didn't get a single reply... ;-( Does
no one still use the console-based Midnight Commander? To be honest, as
unstable as the GUI version of GMC is, I'd like to have both available!
So, here's the message again:
*****************************************************************
I'm using v4.5.26-2 (RPM packages) of both "mc" and "mcserv"...
actually, I should say I *have* these packages. I can't use them,
though. Running "mc" gives the following error:
/usr/bin/mc: error in loading shared libraries
: undefined symbol: __register_frame_info
What causes this? See below for the "ldd" output for both mc and mcserv.
Maybe someone sees the problem from that.
Thanks in advance!
Hall
