SRPM compile options for fasted speed?

Hi there

I'd like to build the SRPM for GNOME with the highest amount of
optimizations.  Does anyone have any faves?  I'm going to read the man
pages, but I'm just wondering if there are any right off the top I could try.

p2-300
RH5.2+
defualt compiler, but I have access to GNU Pro
