undefined symbol: __register_frame_info error

Hi,
  I did a clean install of RH 5.2 and followed the instructions for =
installing Gnome 1.0.  When I attempt to start gnome-session for the =
first time, I am getting the error:

/usr/lib/libesd.so.0 undefined symbol: __register_frame_info

So I tried running enlightenment and it loads up, but a not everything =
is functional.  I am able to exit from X, but when I do, I also notice =
that the same problem is showing up.

Does anybody know what seems to be the problem?  Please help.  Thanks
