Re: help: gnome won't run



David,
I am interested in the correct answer being disseminated to the list. 
What is the solution for users who have dynamically-allocated IPs? 
Also, one correction to the line below has been:

127.0.0.1 localhost localhost.localdomain <machine_name>
<machine_name>.<ISP_Domain_Name>

Is this also a violation?  It has been my understanding that aliasing
localhost is OK to do.  Your comments are appreciated.
