GTK+ Compile problems

Hello all,

	I have been trying to get GTK+ to compile properly for some time now on a
2.2.8-RELEASE box without any success.  If somebody could point me to some
docs I would appreciate it.  The next time I try it I will make sure to save
the output, unfortunately I didn't this last time.  Any suggestions would be
helpfull though...
