A couple of the plugins seem to be a bit funky with 1.1.6 and I found I
had to remove all previous Gimp files in /usr/local/bin, /share
/lib/gimp etc. to get the thing to play nice. IWarp plugin also appears to
be disfunctional -- I just remove anything that crashes the program (run
in an xterm for tighter control) from the appropriate directories, and
refresh (script-fu menu). Make sure you don't have any old plugins
around.
