YET ANOTHER GMC request

There is a feature in the MacOS X Server that was incorporated from
NeXT.
It is a folder browser that basically gives you a four paned view of a
set of folders.
So, if you click on a folder in Pane1, the contents of that folder show
up in Pane 2, then if you click on a folder in Pane 2, the contents of
that folder show up in Pane 3, etc.

So, now you have three folders opened up in on managed space and you can
get to, move, or copy files and folders from any of the 2,3, or 4 open
folders.

I have only saw this system once, but was impressed with it.

Is something like this possible?  This would be an alternative view
setting for GMC from its default.
