Maintaining two seperate lists is a stupid idea. I can understand not
wanting to have it on www.gnome.org; as Miguel just pointed out to me on
irc, it's not GNOME's job to advertise all the software that runs in it.
It would, however, be convenient to have a single source for GNOME
software in the future, when more commercial GNOME software becomes
available. Terral offered me a site (off of gnome.org) to setup a new
software map that could list commercial GNOME-compliant software. At this
point, there's not enough of it to warrant such a site, but once there is
I'll gladly volunteer to set it up.
If anybody has any suggestions for other GNOME-related information that
could be posted on such a site that really isn't appropriate for keeping
on gnome.org, let me know.
