Gnome startup error

I receive the following error message when I start gnome (and when
I start the demo gnome app):

_IceTransSocketINETConnect: Can't connect: errno = 113

GnomeUI-WARNING **: While connecting to session manager:

Look familiar to anyone?

Man, I'll be glad when mozilla gets here - Netscape is about to drive me
nuts.  Anyone else have that #*$&*# thing crash on them twice a week?
Or had it lock X up tight?  Or have it corrupt a file system (happened
during the crash).  It always happens near midnight, too....
