But he is talking about swalling apps in the Gnome panel, which has
nothing to do with the windowmanager...

As far as enlightenment is concerned, the current cvs version has a
proper dock, and the last release would at least run dockapps.

As far as the gnome panel goes, I have yet to succesfully swallow a
non-gnome app in it...
