I would like to get something more colorful.  The GNU guys have never
came up with a flashy, cool logo.  This is a chance to do one.

Their Gnu drawing is terrible.  I mean, it is not bad but it is hardly
something I would like to put in my carefully crafted applications.

We need cool stuff, so lets push the design.  For example, look at the
new banners for GNOME that Ville did:
