Hrmmmm, never had this problem before with mc but with the latest
mc-4.5.35 when I go to do a make install I get
do /usr/bin/ginstall -c -m 644 ./$I /usr/lib/mc/$I; done
for I in mc.ext mc-gnome.ext; \
do /usr/bin/ginstall -c -m 644 /usr/src/mc-4.5.35/lib/$I /usr/lib/mc/$I;
done
for I in README.xterm linux.ti xterm.ad xterm.ti ansi.ti vt100.ti
xterm.tcap; \
do /usr/bin/ginstall -c -m 644 ./$I /usr/lib/mc/term/$I; done
./mkinstalldirs /usr/etc
make[1]: ./mkinstalldirs: Command not found
make[1]: *** [install] Error 127
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/mc-4.5.35/lib'
make: *** [install] Error 1
Using a nifty little program called InstallWatch it seems to die around
here
<snip>
0 chmod /usr/lib/mc/term/ansi.ti 00644 #success
0 unlink /usr/lib/mc/term/vt100.ti #success
5 open /usr/lib/mc/term/vt100.ti #success
0 chmod /usr/lib/mc/term/vt100.ti 00644 #success
0 unlink /usr/lib/mc/term/xterm.tcap #success
5 open /usr/lib/mc/term/xterm.tcap #success
0 chmod /usr/lib/mc/term/xterm.tcap 00644 #success
Can't figure this out. I've unpacked the source and tried again but the
same thing happens, and I can't find anything in the mkinstalldirs that
would be causing this.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
-Brian
