Another way: put screensaver to none. And then add a command to the list of
non session handled: "xset d 120 120 120" ("d" for DPMS, IIRC). The monitor
will go completly off in 2 min via xserver functions (XFree86 at least). You
can read "man xset" for more control (and check that "d").

I think it is even nice than screensavers, cos you can control the time with
sec precission. For blanking screen savers without password I use xset too.
