configure.in suggestion

Hi !
It seems that the SuSE distribution puts the libz under /usr/X11R6/lib
and the current gnome-libs configure fails to find it there.
If I copy the libraries to /usr/lib everything is fine but that's not
really a good solution - configure should find it automatically...
