gtk-engines broken w/ imlib1.9

ok.. since change to imlib1.9, has anyone else had problems using the
pixmap engine w/ the gtk-engines?  I keep getting:
gdk_imlib ERROR: Cannot load image:/usr/local/share/themes/BeOS/gtk//greybg.png
All fallbacks failed.
with all the images it tries to load.  This is w/ cvs glib, gtk, imlib,
gtk-engines.
