GNOME: new desktop behaviour

Hello guys,

   The last version of the File manager (available since yesterday as
part of the Profiling Bonobo release of GNOME) now has a different
behaviour regarding dropping files on the desktop.

   Dragging a file to the desktop will --no matter which modifier keys
you use-- do symlinks.  If you want to do copies/moves to the desktop
you have to use button-2 to initiate the drag (which in GNOME and
Motif means "ask me what to do when you are done") and then you will
have to choose the option you want: copy/move/link.
