canvas item color

Hi.

How can I set a canvas item's color without specifying the color name?

Well... I want to choose the color to set the item from a color picker...

In test-gnome there is something like "fill_color_rgba", but it is used
only in case the canvas is an antialiased canvas. I'm working with a normal
canvas, and I've tryed to use fill_color_rgba anyway... but it doesn't seem to
work.

Can you help me?
