glib and gtk+ 1.1.12

I generated glib and gtk+ 1.1.12 with egcs 1.1.1 on the following
platforms: 

sparc-sun-solaris2.5.1
sparc-sun-solaris2.6
i686-pc-linux-gnulibc1
i686-pc-linux-gnu
alpha-dec-osf4.0b
hppa1.1-hp-hpux10.20
powerpc-ibm-aix4.1.5.0
powerpc-ibm-aix4.3.2.0
mips-sgi-irix6.4

** The results for glib are the same as with glib 1.1.11 that I posted
yesterday. All compilations went to the end but there was two solvable
problems: 

- alpha-dec-osf4.0b: gcc needs the -ansi flag

- powerpc-ibm-aix4.1.5.0 and powerpc-ibm-aix4.3.2.0: there is a problem
with <sys/poll.h> where events and revents are defined macros.

** The results for gtk+ are as follows. All compilations went OK except:

- on  powerpc-ibm-aix4.3.2.0, link needed the flag -Wl,-bbigtoc (to
  enable large table of contents) and that is OK

- powerpc-ibm-aix4.1.5.0 needed the -bbigtoc flag for the link command
  but the linker failed miserably with the following errors:
