hi ,
here is a little history on my case :
i decided to test everything on a clean install of redhat 5.2
nothing on it just gnome0.99.1 , enlightenment0.15 and fvwm2 from rh
distro.
obviously i have gcc and egcs installed
i cant compile a damn thing . balsa , gicq gtkicq whtaever i do i get
errors . I am pretty sure i am missing something
here are examples
misc.c: In function `readfile':
misc.c:169: `errno' undeclared (first use this function)
misc.c:169: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
misc.c:169: for each function it appears in.)
misc.c:169: `EAGAIN' undeclared (first use this function)
misc.c:169: `EINTR' undeclared (first use this function)
make[2]: *** [misc.o] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/opt/balsa/balsa-0.4.6/libbalsa'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/opt/balsa/balsa-0.4.6'
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2
same error for all 3 versions of balsa that i have ( 0.4.5, 0.4.6
0.4.6.-2)
also i cant install gnome extra packs form 0.99.0 onto 0.99.1
is there a way around this since some rpms are not there yet in 0.99.1 and
unless i figure out why is my compiling broken ..... :(
thanks in advance
