AFAIK there's a post-only-list@redhat.com - this is also mentioned somewhere
on the RedHat www site (somewhere under mailing-lists).

If you subscribe to that list you can post to all of the RedHat and GNOME
mailing lists without ever getting mail from it.

If you were removed from the Gnome Mailing list - the mailer daemon seems
to be a little bit "paranoid" - if one of that mails it sends to you ever
bounces it will remove you from the list. I can remember this also happened
a few times to me in the past where we had local configuration errors at
our university and mails bounced for the period us just a few hours ...
