audiofile and '--disable-static' flag

The programs in audiofile/sfcommands and audiofile/test now seem to depend
also on libaudiofile.a. Is this change intended ? 

I usually disable the build of static libs where possible, and last time
(20th Feb) I compiled it, that was ok. 

I removed the linking flag '-static' from the respective Makefiles to see
: all the programs compiled without errors.
