Hi,
I had the same problem and got this from <mpalczew@w-link.net>, which solved
it:

Edit one of the last lines of your esddsp script 

from
export LD_PRELOAD='libesddsp.so libesd.so'
to
export LD_PRELOAD='libesddsp.so libesd.so /usr/lib/libdl.so'

I had the same problem.
