dvi previewer

Any interest in a GNOME version of xdvi?  I'm flirting with the idea,
but I could use help (even though it would probably not be all that
tough).  Not sure if ggv has dvi previewing, but I doubt it.  In any
case, ggv seems to be on somebody's backburner.
