Its got to be an RPM thing. I'm currently using a 'soundless' machine
and compiling/installing from the tarballs. I installed libaudio, esound
anyway (since I will have a card soon :-) but I haven't ever installed
gnome-audio and get no complaints from any other gnome package about
needing it. Must be a dependency or something defined in a spec file
but it definitely doesn't need it to run.
