save_yourself Error?!?

Every time I try to run "exec panel &" or "gnome-session" from an
Enlightened terminal, I get:
**WARNING**: gtk_signal_connect(): could not find signal "save_yourslef"
in the 'GnomeClient' class ancestry
**ERROR**: could not communicate with the panel
Can ANYONE help me with this?
