RE : yet another newbie

hello
i have tryed to install gnome 0.99.3 on RedHat5.2 using RPMs . i have 
followed the gnome install procedure, and never succeed .
i have read the "yet another newbie" discussion about installing gnome, 
and my opinion is that gnome apparently is hard to install (RPM version 
too), and  i regret that gnome project didn't have a archive URL for 
this mailing list (like http://archive.redhat.com/sparc-list/ for the 
sparc-list)
i think that my problem is easy to soluce, but the only solution i found 
to resolve my problem is to post a thread in the gnome-list, and i 
didn't have the response yet .
the more people testing gnome, .......
i think i want to wait for the gnome1.0, and retry the installation
