I'm not sure whose fault this is, but in current gnome-libs, when I
use AM_MAKEFLAGS="-j 3", I get:
make[3]: *** No rule to make target `../libgnomeui/libgnomeui.la', needed by `gnome_segv'. Stop.
make[3]: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs....
It appears there are some incorrect dependancies. Does anyone know
whether this is a libtool/auto* problem or a Makefile.am error (or
something else)?
The "freetype" module also has a similar problem.
It's really useful to have make -j in operation, as it means the
compile takes nowhere near as long on SMP machines (I'm still trying
to work out how to get the three U2/2300 workstaions in the office to
all work on the same module :-))
