problems starting panel...

Ok, I installed all the rpms for gnome and everything seems ok. But
when I start panel, it complains about some .png files. He first says
that he cannot connect to server port 35091, then he starts saying
plenty of errors with trying to open the png files, but they are there
and ok. Can somone help? I really want gnome...:-)
