The tar ball works pritty well. The only problem I had was the spec file
still says 4.5.7 and there was no release version. It was minor to extract,
change, reball, and rpm -ta but it would be nicer if there would be a fully
working spec in the ball.
2 problems with gmc itself
1. the desktop draging still does drag and drop and wont let you move a file
from one place on the desktop to another.
2. More importantly, it still crashes when you close it if you have it start
up automaticly on startup. This is a big problem.
