Hi all,
this is to inform you that from today, XmHTML is available via anoncvs.
For those not familiar with XmHTML: it is the original version of
gtk-xmhtml.
XmHTML can be gotten from anoncvs: cvs co XmHTML
This will checkout the entire source tree (+5MB, documentation, examples
(Motif), tools and library (Motif + gtk)). The documentation and
examples provide a wealth of information on how to control and
understand the widget.
Please note that this is a development version and not (yet) an official
part of GNOME. The new gtk-xmhtml port is far from complete and requires
substantial development.
As I myself have little to no knowledge with respect to gtk, developers
are encouraged to take the gtk-xmhtml port on (Miguel is at least one of
them). A working knowledge of X and Xt is usefull is you decide to take
this port on; XmHTML is a powerfull but huge and fairly complex widget.
If you have any questions or comments related to (gtk-)XmHTML, please
feel free to contact me directly, I am no longer subscribed to this
mailing list.
Friendly Greetings,
Koen D'Hondt
