I'm running gnomepager_applet with WindowMaker 0.50.2, or at least I
would be, if it weren't for this behavior...
When I start it up, I have:
USER PID %CPU %MEM SIZE RSS TTY STAT START TIME COMMAND
itp 1184 2.2 2.3 5652 2968 ? S 11:42 0:00 gnomepager_applet --activate-goad-server gnomepager_applet
After I cycle through my desktops once, I have:
USER PID %CPU %MEM SIZE RSS TTY STAT START TIME COMMAND
itp 1184 0.6 2.3 5660 2984 ? S 11:42 0:00 gnomepager_applet --activate-goad-server gnomepager_applet
Click on them in order again and I have:
USER PID %CPU %MEM SIZE RSS TTY STAT START TIME COMMAND
itp 1184 0.4 2.3 5664 2988 ? S 11:42 0:00 gnomepager_applet --activate-goad-server gnomepager_applet
Slowly but surely, this applet is eating up memory. If I cycle
through my desktops 20 times, I get:
USER PID %CPU %MEM SIZE RSS TTY STAT START TIME COMMAND
itp 1184 1.6 2.4 5804 3128 ? S 11:42 0:01 gnomepager_applet --activate-goad-server gnomepager_applet
If I leave it running during normal use, it soon grows to an
unacceptably large size.
