Re: ESD not working.



What helps me is that I usually start esd before I start gnome.  I think some gnome apps won't start esd by themselves.  So try adding esd& to the beggining of your .xinitrc or .Xclients.  I also like to put a killall esd at the end so that esd dies and if I want to play Quake I don't have to turn it off manually.
