You can obtain a usable version at
http://ftp.enlightenment.org/pub/enlightenment/enlightenment/
Above you refer to RPMs for Solaris? I presume you mean pkgadd-format
packages. If you do, Imlib and all its dependencies are packages for
you at:
http://ext1.nea-fast.com/~jgarzik/gnome/solaris/
Libpng, Imlib itself, etc.
Note that all packages are compressed with bzip2. If you don't have
this, you need to download the JSbzip2 package from that location as
well.
