New Gnome Panel

I was looking at a screen shot from Screem (http://screem.org) and it
show the "G" gnome panel that was small, like 24px high.  The Screem
author said he got it from CVS.  I was wondering if there is an RPM
version of the new panel.  Or, if I installed the rest of Gnome with the
RPM version can I compile the new panel from source and use that?
