GNOME: compiling on sun 2.6

It's first necesary to visit:

I only finished to compile gnome-libs and preceding stuff but can already

sum up some problems. They comes mainly from (generated) Makefiles where it miss some

libraries to link.

I had to modify many makefiles adding :

-lgif -ltiff -lpng -ldb

These libraries are in /usr/local/bin and --prefix=/usr/local/wm/gnome

About db, it was also necessary to replace dbopen by db_open in some piece of

code.
