RE: Integrated Directory Service.



It is a configureation saving library that works similar to (but better
then) the windows registry. It will support different ways of saving the
config information as modules so you can have it store keys in xml files,
ldap, nds, acap, whatever... It will not be the same as a directory, but it
will allow you to save your settings in a directory. Gconf is in development
right now in the gnome cvs server.
